The Sony Xperia 5 is a triple-camera beast, boasting a 16mm super-wide, a 26mm wide, and a 52mm telephoto – and packed with other technology such as Eye Autofocus and 10 fps burst shooting!
We produced videos and photos which were shared on multiple posts across Sony UK’s social media channels to millions of people. Our video proved incredibly successful and became Sony UK’s most viewed video within the past 3 years.
We had been tasked with translating Sony’s new vision which placed the Xperia 5 as the leading phone for all aspiring content creators.
Our mission led us to the mountain peaks of Switzerland. Not only did we make content with the Xperia 5 smartphone itself but we also used Sony’s Alpha series to capture the phone in different environments.
What better way to show the capabilities of a smartphone than to use it to capture a new feature-length documentary? Rigged up inside a Tesla, we utilised the phones compact size and ultra-wide-angle lens to capture some unique in-car shots.
We liaised with different departments throughout Sony to create a formulated plan to best utilise the content we had created.
